The Nix Film: Frame by Frame

The Nix Film. Frame 12 of the JFK Assassination Sequence

Herbert Blenner, a JFK researcher, has spent hours upon hours studying the Nix film. He is sharing his research with us through a webpage he has developed that allows the user to see the Nix film frame by frame as well as copy and paste frames for future use. He also has a page that allows the viewer to overlay frames. He says:

The overlay method adjusts the position of one frame relative to another. Four buttons, Left, Right, Up and Down, enable the viewer to eliminate apparent motion caused by panning errors. Once properly aligned, successive frames show small changes in the size of objects due to their varying distances from the camera. Four adjustments, Heighten, Narrow, Shorten and Widen compensate for these changes in the apparent sizes of objects. These corrections reveal frequent buckling of the film as the cause of anomalous changes in the apparent shapes of subjects.

Thank you Mr. Blenner for your painstaking work and thank you for these words on your site:

The Nix film though showing far less detail of the actual shooting in Dealey Plaza than the Zapruder film is not a film of lesser importance. This situation arises since these films show different behaviors of President Kennedy’s head shortly after being shot. Clearly reconciling these differences require reinterpretation of one or both head shot sequences.
