This is the PDF of a CIA file released in 1997 under the FOIA that I received today via LeakSource. It discusses morals, guns, bombs, drawings of how to assassinate someone at a conference table and more. I find it sickeningly amusing that one of the key tenets is:
“…assassination can seldom be employed with a clear conscience. Persons who are morally squeamish should not attempt it.”
I would be morally squeamish. It concerns me that our government employs people who aren’t. Aren’t morally squeamish people the ones who should be in prison? Again I ask, where did we go wrong in accepting this type of behavior as “needed” in protecting our country?
